Harris Bipods are ultralight and lightening quick and will improve the accuracy of your shooting.  They are quick to attach and remove, attaching to the front stud of conventional stock rifles where the sling also mounts.  A range of adaptors are available to help them fit to a wider variety guns. 

The positive attachment makes a steady hold easier by eliminating any shifting or movement between the gun and rest, and the bipod is always there if you need it.  The sitting position often allows shooting over ground vegetation and the prone position, with practice, allows nearly the complete accuracy potential of your rifle to be realised.
