In 1853 Aigle revolutionized the world of footwear by using rubber as its core material for boot manufacture. Boots continue to be made by hand at Ingrandes, near Chatellerault in France.

From preparation through to finishing, each stage takes place under the watchful eye of specialists.

Natural Rubber

Natural rubber originates from the rubber tree plantations of Southeast Asia. Its solid molecular structure ensures high resistance to wear and tear while preventing incisions from deteriorating. It is comfortable, supple and retains its elasticity even in freezing temperatures.
