Martin Simpson - Artist

Martin Simpson is an artist, illustrator, lecturer (art & design), and a mad-keen trout fisherman. More than 16 years ago he combined his love of trout with his love of art to produce commissioned trout portraits. He is the contributing artist to New Zealand Fish and Game Magazine and his work is also seen in many of New Zealand’s best fishing Lodges, and private collections around the world.

Everything about trout fishing is beautiful. The equipment is beautiful, the places fish live are beautiful, and the fish themselves are beautiful. Martin strives to create the finest, most accurate and realistic fishing artwork in the world.
