Rathmoy was created in 2006 on a 1000 hectare sheep and beef farm and offers a unique experience in some of New Zealand’s most beautiful native bush.
They are situated deep in the heart of the Rangitikei just north of Hunterville and the property is bordered by the spectacular Rangitikei River with its bush clad cliffs and river terraces naturally creating the perfect environment for pulse racing driven pheasants.
They have a diverse range of driven pheasant shooting opportunities to suit
all levels of experience, whether you prefer fast snap shooting in deep gorges, tight shooting through trees, or perhaps you like to appreciatively watch the birds take flight for a few seconds before raising your gun.
Their Shoot Hut, The Fish & Pheasant sits on the edge of the Rangitikei River and at the foot of the soaring Papa cliffs, it’s a perfect and inspiring location before and after the shoot.
